Privacy policy
What stays on your iPhone
Everything you scan, photograph, say, type or ask is processed by the AI model on your iPhone. None of it is sent to us or to anyone else. The app works with no internet connection. We do not use analytics or tracking, and there are no third-party SDKs in the app.
What we collect if you sign in
Signing in is optional. It exists so you can get a friend pass (a referral code). When you sign in with Apple, Google, Microsoft or an emailed code we store:
- your name and email address;
- your phone number, only if you turn on "Contact me by phone" and enter one;
- which friend pass, if any, you used, and which ones were used with your code, so rewards can be granted;
- a random identifier for your iPhone, so a friend pass can be used once per device.
How we use it
- To run the friend pass: give 30 days to people who use your code and lifetime access to you when they join.
- If you turned on "Email me tips and offers": occasional marketing email from SignalFree and CalMax Systems. Unsubscribe any time in the app or by replying to any email.
- If you turned on "Contact me by phone": calls, including automated calls, from SignalFree and CalMax Systems about updates and offers. You can withdraw this in the app at any time.
Both choices are off unless you turn them on. We record when you turned them on and the exact wording you saw.
Purchases
The one-time unlock is sold and processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details.
Deleting your data
In the app, Settings → Account → Delete my account removes your name, email, phone number and consents from our records. Your access on your iPhone is not affected. You can also email privacy@signalfree.app.
Where data is stored
Account data is stored with Cloudflare, encrypted in transit and at rest. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it except with providers who send email or make calls on our behalf under the choices above.
Children
SignalFree AI is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the app will ask you to look at it again before anything new applies.
